Kyle Busch earned his 53rd career NASCAR Xfinity Series pole Saturday at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
Busch (130.792 mph/29.121 seconds) edged Joe Gibbs Racing teammate Erik Jones (130.738 mph/29.133) for the top spot.
They’ll make up the front row for this afternoon’s AutoLotto 200 at the 1.058-mile flat track in Loudon, N.H.
“We’ve got a good piece,” Busch, who will go for his 82nd career win in the series, told NBCSN. “I just have to do my job now and not mess it up. This is a real challenging place. It’s hard to figure out. It’s very flat and not forgiving.”
Brad Keselowski qualified third (129.834 mph/29.336 seconds), followed by another JGR driver, Daniel Suarez (129.349/29.446) and Alex Bowman (129.309/29.455).
