Watch LIVE: NASCAR America from 6 – 7:30 p.m. ET: Kentucky recap, Truex’ penalty

Today’s episode of NASCAR America airs from 6 – 7:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN and brings you the biggest stories from the race weekend at Kentucky Speedway.

Leigh Diffey hosts with Brian Vickers in Stamford, Connecticut. They are joined by Jeff Burton and Dale Jarrett from NBC Charlotte.

Included in today’s show:

  • Vickers, Burton and Jarrett break down how Brad Keselowski was able to make his winning fuel strategy work at Kentucky Speedway and how the track’s repave surface played a role in multiple accidents that involved some big names.
  • Martin Truex Jr. put on a thrilling drive late in the race, but came up short. Truex had to dig deep in the closing laps after he was penalized on pit road with around 70 laps to go. We’ll hear what Truex had to say about the call and whether our analysts believe it was justified.
  • The NASCAR on NBC pit reporters go “On The Wall” to share their observations and stories from Saturday.
