NASCAR Xfinity qualifying resumed after lightning in the area delayed NASCAR Xfinity qualifying at Daytona International Speedway earlier Friday.

Twenty-two of 43 cars had completed runs before lightning was detected in the area and the session was halted.

David Ragan has the provisional pole in the No. 18 car for Joe Gibbs Racing with a lap of 181.302 mph. Ragan is in the car because Matt Tifft is having surgery Friday to remove a tumor on his brain.
