Justin Allgaier sponsor Trademark Nitrogen paying tribute to ‘Old Glory’ at Daytona

Allgaier - Dayton 2

JR Motorsports has announced Justin Allgaier’s primary sponsor for this weekend’s Firecracker 250 at Daytona and revealed the patriotic paint scheme that will be on his No. 7 Chevrolet.

Allgaier, in his first season with JR Motorsports in the Xfinity Series, will be sponsored by Trademark Nitrogen for Friday night’s race.

Trademark Nitrogen is a manufacturer and distributor of bulk commodities for the agriculture and industrial markets. It and associate sponsor Brandt Professional Agriculture will be colored by a paint scheme that pays tribute to the American flag.

While similar to previous Fourth of July paint schemes Allgaier has raced, this version had some “creative guidance” from team owner Dale Earnhardt Jr.

“I’m really looking forward to driving this unique car at Daytona,” said Allgaier in a press release. “Racing under the lights during the Fourth of July weekend, the car reminds us what Independence Day is all about, celebrating our freedoms and honoring those who continue to fight to protect our country. Hopefully we can get a win for them.”

Allgaier heads to Daytona still looking for his first win of the season. His best result of 2016 is second at Talladega. Allgaier has 11 Xfinity starts at Daytona, with a career best result of fourth in 2010.

Through the first 14 races of the season, Allgaier has been sponsored by Brandt, TaxSlayer.com, Breyers, Hellman’s and Suave Men.
