After approximately just over an hour delay to finish drying the race track, tonight’s Drivin for Linemen NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Gateway Motorsports Park is underway.

Rain and lightning washed out qualifying earlier in the afternoon. The 1.25-mile track needed extra time to dry the race began at approximately 9:45 pm ET. The green flag was originally slated to drop just after 8:30 pm ET.

Ben Rhodes, who was fastest in the two practice sessions earlier in the day, was awarded the pole per the NASCAR rule book. Veteran Truck Series driver Johnny Sauter will start on the outside of the front row.

Rico Abreu suffered clutch issues that kept him on pit road as the green flag dropped to start the race.
