The first NASCAR Sprint Cup practice session of the weekend at Pocono Raceway was cut short Friday due to rain.

And now the wet stuff has claimed two more victims: the final two Xfinity Series practice sessions that were scheduled for Friday afternoon.

But the clouds have parted and Sprint Cup qualifying is underway, a little bit late from its scheduled 4:15 p.m. ET start.

Saturday, the Xfinity Series is slated to have qualifying and then the Pocono Green 250 race at 1 p.m. ET.

The Sprint Cup Series is also slated to have one qualifying session Saturday, but that could change if qualifying is rained out later this afternoon.

The Axalta “We Paint Winners” 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup race is scheduled for Sunday at 1 p.m. ET. But be forewarned -- rain, again, is in the forecast.
