Kyle Busch, Erik Jones, Paul Menard fastest in first Xfinity practice at Pocono

Kyle Busch (170.171 mph), Erik Jones (169.770) and Paul Menard (169.122) were fastest in the first NASCAR Xfinity Series practice at Pocono Raceway on Thursday afternoon.

This is the first Xfinity event ever held at the so-called “Tricky Triangle.”

Justin Allgaier, Ty Dillon and Daniel Suarez were fourth through sixth fastest, respectively.

There will be one other practice session this afternoon from 4-4:55 p.m. ET, followed by two more practices Friday. Qualifying for the Pocono Green 250 will take place Saturday, followed by the race.
