Rain cancels qualifying for Sprint All-Star Race

Qualifying has been canceled for the Sprint All-Star Race because of rain at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

The field will set by owner points, putting Kevin Harvick on the pole.

The National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Cabarrus County - where the track is located - from 6:56 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. ET. Qualifying was to have begun at 7:10 p.m.
