Pole-sitter Martin Truex Jr. dominated the first half of Saturday night’s GoBowling.com 400 at Kansas Speedway.

Truex, who leads at the midpoint of the scheduled 267-lap event, led 99 of the first 134 laps. However, history is not necessarily in Truex’s favor: Only three of the halfway leaders in the past 20 races at Kansas have won.

Matt Kenseth was second at the halfway point, followed by Kyle Larson, Kevin Harvick (who has bounced back from a 26th-place start) and Kurt Busch.

Kyle Busch led 32 laps and was sixth at the midpoint, followed by Ryan Blaney, Joey Logano, Brad Keselowski and Kasey Kahne.

There have been three cautions for 12 laps with five leaders and six lead changes.
