After starting from the pole position, Martin Truex Jr. dominated Saturday night at Kansas Speedway before a loose wheel on a pit stop negated a shot at the win.
The Furniture Row Racing driver finished 14th after leading a race-high 172 laps in the GoBowling.com 400.
It was similar to last month’s race at Texas Motor Speedway, where Truex led a race-high 141 laps but settled for sixth after getting burned on pit strategy.
