Kurt Busch was the fastest in Friday’s opening Sprint Cup practice with a lap of 185.893 mph at Kansas Speedway.
He was followed by Martin Truex Jr. (185.478 mph), Carl Edwards (185.020), Austin Dillon (184.925) and Trevor Bayne (184.811).
