Several big names in NASCAR are lamenting the sanctioning body’s move that reduces the number of weekends off in 2017 from three to just two.
Dale Earnhardt Jr., Kevin Harvick crew chief Rodney Childers and Joey Meier, spotter for Talladega winner Brad Keselowski, took to Twitter to express their feelings about the weekend that got away.

Just saw the 2017 #NASCAR Schedule, our June off weekend is gone. That was a fun one because the kids are out of school.
