Carl Edwards is halfway to earning his second straight win, leading at the 200-lap midpoint of Sunday’s Toyota Owners 400 at Richmond International Raceway.

Edwards, who won last week at Bristol, has led 121 laps at the .750-mile short track.

Pole-sitter Kevin Harvick is second, followed by Jimmie Johnson, Kyle Busch and Kasey Kahne.

Tony Stewart, making his first start of the season after missing the first eight races with a fractured back, is scored 21st at the midpoint of the race.

The race went 157 laps before the first caution (for debris on the backstretch).

Denny Hamlin and Chris Buescher both were penalized on their respective pit stops during that caution because of uncontrolled tires on pit road. Hamlin fell from third to outside the top 15.

Another caution came out for debris on Lap 195. Matt Kenseth, who was having voltage problems, had both batteries changed during that stop. He exited the pits in 19th. Denny Hamlin also radioed he might be having battery issues.
