NASCAR suspended Nick Harrison, crew chief for Ty Dillon, for this weekend’s Xfinity Series race at Richmond International Raceway. The suspension came after the Richard Childress Racing team received a P3 penalty for an infraction last weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway.

NASCAR cited the team for not using a proper spoiler assembly and extension.

Along with the suspension, Harrison was fined $10,000 and placed on probation through Dec. 31.

NASCAR also announced Wednesday that the No. 33 Richard Childress Racing car of Brandon Jones received its second warning of the season for failing the Laser Inspection Station at Bristol. The team also will be docked 15 minutes of practice time this weekend at Richmond.
