Carl Edwards’ team received its third warning of the season last weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway, meaning the Joe Gibbs Racing team will lose its chance to select its pit stall after the next warning.

Teams lose pit stall selection after four warnings.

Edwards’ team was cited for failing template inspection twice before qualifying. Edwards’ team received a warning for a similar infraction at Las Vegas and a warning for failing the Laser Inspection Station twice before the race at Auto Club Speedway.

Also receiving warnings at Bristol were the teams of Dale Earnhardt Jr., Kevin Harvick and Trevor Bayne.

Earnhardt’s Hendrick Motorsports team received its second warning of the year for failing template inspection twice before qualifying.

Harvick’s Stewart-Haas Racing team was given its first warning of the year for failing template inspection twice before qualifying.

Bayne’s Roush Fenway Racing team received its second warning of the year after failing the Laser Inspection Station twice before qualifying.
