The NASCAR Xfinity Series moves from the high speeds at Texas last weekend to the high banks of Bristol Motor Speedway with today’s Fitzgerald Glider Kits 300.
There will be two 50-lap heat races to set the starting lineup for the 200-lap main event race.
Here’s what you need to know about the series’ seventh race of the season:

START: The command will be given to start engines for the first heat race at 12:37 p.m. The command will be given to start engines for the second heat race at about 1:17 p.m. Don Simms and family will give the command to start engines for the main event at 1:51 p.m. The green flag is scheduled to wave at 1:57 p.m.
DISTANCE: Each heat race is 50 laps (26.65 miles). The main event is 200 laps (106.6 miles) around the .533-mile concrete oval track.
PRERACE SCHEDULE: The Xfinity Garage opens at 6:30 a.m. Qualifying begins at 9:45 a.m. The driver/crew chief meeting is at 10:45 a.m. Driver introductions are at 12:05 p.m.
NATIONAL ANTHEM: Clare Dunn will perform the anthem at 12:31 p.m.
TV/RADIO: Fox Sports 1 will broadcast the race at 12:30 p.m. Performance Racing Network will have the race on radio and at goPRN.com, beginning at 12 p.m. SiriusXM NASCAR Radio will carry the PRN broadcast.
FORECAST: wunderground.com predicts a temperature of 69 degrees at race time with 0 percent chance of rain.
LAST TIME: Kyle Busch led 89 laps on the way to winning at Bristol last August with Kyle Larson second and Denny Hamlin third. Busch has won seven of the last 11 times at Bristol and eight overall, most of any active driver. Joey Logano won at Bristol last April with Daniel Suarez second and Chris Buescher third.
