Chase Elliott, who qualified fourth for the Duck Commander 500 at Texas Motor Speedway, will drop to the rear of the field prior to the start of Saturday night’s race.

A transmission change on Elliott’s No. 24 Chevrolet is the cause for his move to the back. Elliott is the only driver being sent to the rear.

Elliott enters Saturday night’s race 16th in the point standings.

The Hendrick Motorsports driver has one win at Texas in the Xfinity Series.
