Big Bill is coming back to Bristol, baby.
For the second straight year, wrestling superstar Bill Goldberg is returning to Bristol Motor Speedway as host for the Food City 500 Sprint Cup race on April 17.
A former champion in both World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Goldberg will emcee introductions as drivers enter the stage to a song they’ve chosen for the occasion.
“It’s always an honor lending a hand to NASCAR in doing what they do,” Goldberg said in a media release. “To be asked back to Bristol, where my NASCAR experience began over 20 years ago, is a special invitation that I could never pass up!”
Goldberg also will make an appearance before the April 16 NASCAR Xfinity Series race there.
