Even though it’s only his fourth NASCAR Camping World Truck Series event, rookie driver William Byron showed his aplomb in handling Martinsville Speedway.
Byron was the fastest driver in Friday’s first NCWTS practice session, covering the half-mile bullring at 95.309 mph.
The second Truck practice session of the day is scheduled for 12:30-1:55 p.m. ET, with the final practice slated for 3 to 3:50 p.m. ET.
Qualifying will take place Saturday at 11:15 a.m. ET, with the race slated to start at 2:30 p.m. ET.
