NASCAR issued warnings to six different Sprint Cup teams for issues last weekend at Auto Club Speedway.

Matt Kenseth’s Joe Gibbs Racing team received two separate warnings. The team received a warning for failing the Laser Inspection Station twice before qualifying and failing template inspection twice before qualifying. Those are the first two warnings of the year for that team. Any team with four warnings loses its choice of pit stalls.

Other warnings from Auto Club Speedway were:

-- Carl Edwards’ Joe Gibbs Racing team received a warning for failing the Laser Inspection Station twice before the race. This is the team’s second warning of the year.

-- Michael McDowell’s Circle Sport - Leavine Family Racing team received its first warning of the year for having the truck trailing arm not meet specifications. The issue was discovered in opening day inspection.

-- Austin Dillon’s Richard Childress Racing team, Ryan Blaney’s Wood Brothers Racing team and Paul Menard’s Richard Childress Racing team each received a warning for failing the Laser Inspection Station twice before qualifying. It is the first warning for each of those teams.
