Derrike Cope won’t be short on energy during Saturday’s Xfinity Series race at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California.
Cope and his No. 70 Chevrolet Camaro will be sponsored by E-hydrate and its new protein and joint health product, ACTIVE Protein On-the-Go, which is due to be released nationally in early April at Target stores.
This is a further extension of the sponsorship of Cope’s car, which carried the company’s banner and various elements from its product line for the Xfinity races at Daytona, Las Vegas and Phoenix.
“The demands of driving are intense and you have to be in top mental and physical condition,” Cope said in a statement. “E-hydrate products are natural and give me the nutrition I need to perform at this level.
“We are extremely pleased to have E-hydrate on board and we’re excited about it’s new ACTIVE products.”
E-hydrate will continue sponsorship of Cope in several more upcoming races, the team said.
