NASCAR issued warnings to the Sprint Cup teams of Carl Edwards, Martin Truex Jr. and Ryan Newman on Wednesday for issues last weekend at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

It is the first warning for each team. A team loses its pit stall pick once it accumulates four warnings. After that, the total is reset to zero.

The teams of Edwards (Joe Gibbs Racing) and Truex (Furniture Row Racing) received warnings for failing template inspection twice before qualifying.

Newman’s team (Richard Childress Racing) received a warning for failing the Laser Inspection Station twice before last weekend’s race.

NASCAR also announced that crew member Christopher Jamieson has been indefinitely suspended for violating NASCAR’s Substance Abuse Policy.
