Today’s Xfinity race at Las Vegas: Start time, weather, radio and TV info

The NASCAR Xfinity Series moves into its third race of the season with today’s Boyd Gaming 300 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Thus far this season, Chase Elliott won at Daytona and Kyle Busch took the checkered flag at Atlanta.

Here’s today’s schedule: (All times are Eastern)

START: Chris Gibase, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Technology Officer, Boyd Gaming, will give the command to start engines at 4:07 p.m. The green flag is scheduled to wave at 4:16 p.m.

DISTANCE: The 200-lap race on the 1.5-mile speedway will cover 300 miles.

PRERACE SCHEDULE: The Xfinity garage opened at 9 a.m. Qualifying is at 12:45 p.m. The driver/crew chief meeting is at 2:15 p.m. Driver introductions are at 3:30 p.m.

NATIONAL ANTHEM: Erisa Rodriguez will perform the anthem at 4:01 p.m.

TV/RADIO: Fox Sports 1 will broadcast the race at 4 p.m. Performance Racing Network will broadcast the race on radio and at PRN.com with coverage beginning at 3:30 p.m. SiriusXM NASCAR Radio will carry PRN’s broadcast.

FORECAST: wunderground.com predicts a temperature of 77 degrees at race time with a 0 percent chance of rain.

LAST TIME: Austin Dillon led 181 of the 200-lap event to win last March. Ryan Blaney finished second, followed by Regan Smith, Denny Hamlin and Chase Elliott.
