Just under an hour into the second Sprint Cup test session at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Daytona 500 winner Denny Hamlin crashed his No. 11 Toyota.
Hamlin had the second-fastest speed of the session prior to the one-car accident at 189.129 mph. He had the second best speed in the first session, which lasted two hours.

The No. 11 team will have to go to a backup car for the rest of the weekend as they prepare for Sunday’s Kobalt 400.
Hamlin said just got loose. Car was going to be primary for the weekend so will have to use other car. Teams can change cars/engines for Fri
