NASCAR confiscated braces in the right rear corner of the cars of Austin Dillon, Paul Menard and Ryan Newman before Sunday’s Sprint Cup race at Atlanta Motor Speedway, according to a NASCAR.com report.

The report states that, according to NASCAR, the parts were optional braces in rear wheel area of the Richard Childress Racing cars. NASCAR officials discovered the issue in inspection and had them removed. The parts will be taken to the R&D Center in Concord, North Carolina.

No penalties are expected, according to the report.
