Friday’s first NASCAR Camping World Truck Series practice at Atlanta Motor Speedway was a tale of two rookies.
Grant Enfinger, defending ARCA Series champ, and Christopher Bell were fastest in the first of three practice sessions today.
Enfinger had a best run of 179.574 mph to top the field. Bell, who suffered a hard wreck at Daytona last week, was second fastest at 178.816 mph.
Two-time Truck champ Matt Crafton was third fastest at 178.310 mph.
Friday’s two other sessions will be at 1:30 p.m. to 2:25 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 5:25 p.m. ET.
