After splitting a ride last season in the Xfinity Series with Kyle Larson and Justin Marks, Brennan Poole will run the full season in 2016 for Chip Ganassi Racing.

The team also announced Thursday that the 24-year-old Poole also will compete for Xfinity Series Rookie of the Year and that Chad Norris will serve as his crew chief. Poole’s No. 48 Chevrolet Camaro will be sponsored for the second straight year by DC Solar.

Poole has 17 career Xfinity starts, all coming last season, earning two top-10 and 10 top-10 finishes.

“It’s an honor and a dream to be able to compete full-time and race for a championship,” Poole said in a team release. “I learned a lot competing in the Xfinity Series on a part-time basis in 2015, which I believe sets me up for an even better 2016.”
