Mike Massaro hosts from our Stamford, Connecticut studio, and will be joined by Kyle Petty and Nate Ryan from NBC Charlotte.

In addition, Jeff Burton will be calling in.

On today’s show:


  • NASCAR America will continue to break down the newest and one of the biggest changes in NASCAR: A new “charter” team ownership system in the Sprint Cup Series. We’ll hear from a handful of NASCAR industry leaders, including Mike Helton, Brian France and Richard Petty.

  • It’s been 15 years since Dale Earnhardt’s tragic accident at Daytona. Tonight, we’ll explain why one of NASCAR’s darkest days inspired a safety revolution. Earnhardt’s former car owner, Richard Childress joins us to provide his perspective.
  • 2016 marks former Sprint Cup and Xfinity Series champion, Bobby Labonte’s 30th consecutive year as a professional driver. Labonte will hop behind the wheel of the No. 18 Xfinity car as Gibbs Racing celebrates their 25th year in NASCAR.
  • We’ll look at Richard Childress Racing and its hopes for 2016.
