In 2015, Wendell Scott became the first African-American inducted into the NASCAR Hall of Fame.
Scott’s life and struggles in NASCAR have now been brought to life with an animated short called “Driven” produced by StoryCorps.
Scott’s sons, Frank and Warrick Scott, are the narrators for the short, which was directed by Julie Zammarchi.
