Cody Coughlin, a Joe Gibbs Racing development driver and ARCA competitor, has joined Kyle Busch Motorsports for a part-time schedule in the Camping World Truck Series.

The team announced Coughlin, 20, will drive the No. 18 JEGS.com Toyota Tundra in 11 races, beginning with the season opener at Daytona International Speedway on Feb. 19.

The Delaware, Ohio native has two Truck starts. Both came in 2015 with Bill Venturini and KBM. Coughlin joins a team that will field William Byron and Christopher Bell full-time and Daniel Suarez part-time.

“I’m happy with everything that is happening, but to be able to race at Daytona again is really cool,” said Coughlin, who raced there in the ARCA race last year, in a press release. “If there’s one race that I had to pick, that would probably be it because I think it’s the most prestigious race of the year. We’re super stoked about it and I know we will be strong with KBM behind me.”

Wes Ward will be Coughlin’s crew chief for the Daytona race.
