Martinsville Speedway announced Saturday that Alpha Energy Solutions will sponsor both of its Camping World Truck Series races this season.

Louisville-based Alpha Energy previously sponsored the Pole Award for the 2014 STP 500 race at Martinsville.

According to a track media release, the company will kick off a three-year agreement as the entitlement sponsor for the April 2 Alpha Energy Solutions 250 and the Oct. 29 Alpha Energy Solutions 200.

“It’s always great to see a company expand their role in our sport and to have Alpha Energy Solutions do that at Martinsville makes it even better,” track president Clay Campbell said.

“The new Chase format in the Camping World Truck Series will bring even more anticipation to what are already two of the best races on the schedule, and I’m really excited to have Alpha Energy Solutions be a part of it,” Campbell added.

The Oct. 29 race will be the first race of the second round of the new Truck Series playoffs.

“Martinsville Speedway provides some of the best racing action throughout the NASCAR season and the grandfather clock awarded to the victor is one of the most iconic trophies in all of sports,” Alpha Energy Solutions Director of Sales Gerry Lewis said. “We are looking forward to being associated with Martinsville Speedway and to support NASCAR racing for years to come.”

Alpha Energy also will continue serving as main sponsor for Louisville native driver Ben Rhodes in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.
