Front Row Motorsports will be a two-car team this season and have Landon Cassill and Chris Buescher as drivers this season. The team announced Cassill’s signing Wednesday. Cassill will drive the No. 38 car.
The 26-year-old Cassill has 187 Sprint Cup starts and is a former Xfinity Rookie of the Year. He drove for Hillman Racing in 2015.
“I feel like Front Row Motorsports is a great fit for me,’' Cassill said in a statement from the team. “I’ve got several years of experience in the series now, and being part of this team will help me take the next step in my career.’'
Said car owner Bob Jenkins: “We’ve always been impressed with Landon and what we can do behind the wheel. He’s got a lot of natural talent. You could see that at every level of racing he’s compete in throughout his career.’'
Sponsorship for Cassill’s team will be announced later the team stated.
