Chuck Bush and Matt Strickert from NASCAR.com found out last year when they documented the throwback weekend at Darlington Raceway and the Southern 500.
The duo used a Super 8 camera to record everything from pre-race festivities on Pit Road to the Carl Edwards’ backflip after winning the Southern 500 for the first time.
It makes for one of the coolest home videos you’ll find in the 21st Century.
