After four seasons on the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series circuit, Shane Lee will split his time this season between the Camping World Truck Series and ARCA series.

Lee will compete on both series for Win-Tron Racing.

“Shane and (veteran chief Jamie Jones) will be able to work together throughout the season and having a veteran around him like Jason White and being able to lean on (teammate) Gray Gaulding will help Shane progress quickly,” Win-Tron owner Kevin Cywinski said in a media release.

Lee earned 18 Whelen Series wins while racing at Hickory Motor Speedway (including two limited Late Model championships), Myrtle Beach Speedway and Greenville Pickens Speedway. He also earned Rookie of the Year honors on the Whelen All-American Tour in 2013.

“This is the kind of opportunity I’ve been dreaming of,” Lee said. “I felt like we finished off the 2015 season on a high note and really looking forward to 2016. It’s exciting to know we’re headed to Daytona (International Speedway) this weekend for the first test session of the year.”

Lee will take part in the ARCA open test at Daytona Friday and Saturday in preparation for the season-opening Lucas Oil 200 there on Feb. 13.

His Truck Series debut will be April 2 at Martinsville Speedway.
