Stewart-Haas Racing member suffers stroke

Les Huntley, a front suspension mechanic at Stewart-Haas Racing who also served as the second gas man for Danica Patrick’s team, suffered a stroke New Year’s Day, the team confirmed Monday.

Huntley has paralysis on the left side and is expected to have long road to recovery.

A GoFundMe site has been set up to help with Huntley’s expenses.

Huntley, who is from Renwick, Iowa, worked on front suspensions for all the Stewart-Haas Racing cars.
