JOEY LOGANO

CREW CHIEF: Todd Gordon

TEAM: Team Penske

POINTS: 6th

WINS: 6 (Daytona I, Watkins Glen, Bristol II, Charlotte II, Kansas II, Talladega II)

Top 5s: 22 (career best)

TOP 10s: 28 (career best)

LAPS LED: 1, 431 (career best)

POLES: 6 (Atlanta, Martinsville I, Richmond I, Kansas I, Richmond II, Martinsville II)

WHAT WENT RIGHT: Logan started things off right, winning his first Daytona 500, the second for owner Roger Penske ... At Watkins Glen, Logano slipped by Kevin Harvick, who was running out of gas, on the last corner and to win the race. He led only the last lap ... Logano became the only driver to sweep an entire round of the Chase for the Sprint Cup, winning all three races of the second round ... Made it to the third round before eliminated ... Earned more than two poles in a season for first time in his career.

WHAT WENT WRONG: Depending on who you ask it either went wrong when Logano spun Matt Kenseth in the fall Kansas race or when Kenseth plowed Logano into a wall at Martinsville two weeks later ... A week after Martinsville, a tire disintegrated in the early laps at Texas and sent Logano to the garage for repairs ... After winning the Daytona 500, Logano didn’t visit victory lane for 21 races.

WHAT TO EXPECT IN 2016: Will return as one of the drivers to beat, something many wouldn’t have believed just three years ago. Enters his eighth full-time season with 14 wins, 11 of which came in the last two seasons.
