Earned multiple poles for first time since 2011, two in his first four starts ... Won the spring Michigan race after it was called due to rain after 138 laps ... Didn’t record any DNFs a year after finishing the 2014 season with six .

WHAT WENT WRONG: Was suspended the first three races of the season due to domestic violence allegations involving ex-girlfriend Patricia Driscoll ... Title hopes were dashed in the first race of the third round of the Chase when he finished 34th after being involved in a crash on Lap 436
