2015 Season in Review: Kasey Kahne

CREW CHIEF: Keith Rodden

TEAM: Hendrick Motorsports

POINTS: 18th

Top 5s: Three

TOP 10s: 10

LAPS LED: 66 (career low)

POLES: 1 (Michigan I)

WHAT WENT RIGHT: Kahne’s pole for the Spring Michigan race ended a three-year drought of starting first … Became a father with birth of son Tanner Lee in October …  Only NASCAR win came in Camping World Truck Series race at Charlotte … Won the first segment of the Sprint All-Star Race … Equaled number of top-five finishes from 2014 …

WHAT WENT WRONG: One of three drivers who won in 2014 who failed to in 2015. First winless season since 2010 … Only Hendrick driver to not finish in top 15 in points … Average finish of 18.1 was lowest since 2010.

WHAT TO EXPECT IN 2016: With the retirement of Jeff Gordon, Kahne is now the senior driver in the No. 5/No. 24 shop.
