NASCAR announced it has entered into a licensing agreement with toy maker Toy State to bring new NASCAR themed toys to fans.
Beginning early in 2016, Toy State will produce ‘lights and sound’ and radio-controlled toy versions of NASCAR cars.
Toy State is also the maker of Caterpillar, Hot Wheels, DC Super Friends, Barbie and WWE products.
The company served as a sponsor for the No. 7 of Alex Bowman in the Sprint Cup Series in 2015.
“Our introduction to NASCAR in 2015 has been fantastic, and we’re excited to deepen our presence in the sport through this new licensing partnership,” said Toy State President Andy Friess in a release. “We are thrilled to work with the sport’s governing body to help cultivate kid interest and engage young NASCAR fans through our toys.”
