Ho ho ho: You’ll love Elliott Sadler’s family Christmas card portrait

NASCAR XFINITY Series FURIOUS 7 300 - Qualifying

We love Christmas cards, especially family portraits.

But let’s face it, if you’ve seen one, you’ve seen 1,000 of them -- and they’re all pretty much the same.

Mom is usually coiffed up nicely, the kids look semi-bored and dear old dad typically has an “interesting” (we’re being kind, there are worst adjectives we could have used) Christmas sweater.

And then there’s the Elliot Sadler family. It’s going to take a lot for another NASCAR family to top the Sadler’s 2015 Christmas card -- and we mean that in a good way.

Mom Amanda looks great, as usual.

Children Wyatt and Austyn look like they can’t wait to get back to their favorite video games or cell phones.

And then there’s the topping on the cake ... err, card ... Elliott’s reaction (love the white shoes, buddy!).

Not only is the veteran NASCAR driver’s expression priceless, he hit the nail on the head when he tweeted the picture out and added #Griswold, an homage to Chevy Chase, “wife” Beverly D’Angelo, and their “children,” Juliette Lewis Johnny Galecki (a huge star these days in “The Big Bang Theory”) in the 1989 Christmas classic, “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation.”

(Can you really believe it’s been 26 years since that movie first debuted?)

With the theme, “Laughing All The Way,” here’s the Sadler family Christmas portrait -- we challenge other NASCAR drivers and their families to outdo Elliott and family (check out the Christmas sweater Austyn is wearing).

They have their work cut out for them, as Clark Griswold -- uh, err, I mean Elliott -- has really set the bar pretty high. Enjoy!
