Watch Live: NASCAR America 5 pm ET -- Las Vegas, new VP Scott Miller

As the countdown to Friday’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Awards banquet continues, today’s edition of NASCAR America gives you the latest news about what’s happening in Las Vegas.

Included on today’s show, which runs from 5 to 6 pm ET:

* We’ll catch you up on all the NASCAR-related festivities that have occurred in Las Vegas today, including the popular FanFest from the Fremont Street Experience.

* Kelli Stavast will have one-on-one interviews with several drivers including Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Clint Bowyer.

* Dave Burns talks with Tony Stewart’s new crew chief, Mike Bugarewicz, who will discuss his plans to make Stewart’s final Sprint Cup season a success in 2016.

* We’ll give you all the news about Wednesday’s appointment of Scott Miller as NASCAR’s new vice president of competition, replacing the outgoing Robin Pemberton.

* The driver/crew chief relationship can be a vital part of a team’s success. We’ll revisit our Roundtable with members of our NASCAR on NBC team to hear how they built these important bonds.
