Once again, we’ll have a slightly extended edition 70-minute edition of NASCAR America today, with the show running from 5 to 6:10 pm ET.

Carolyn Manno hosts from our Stamford (Conn.) studio, while Frank Stoddard and Kyle Petty will join us from NBC Charlotte.

On today’s show:

* We’ll have an extended Scan All 43 from Sunday’s season-ending championship race, bringing you all the sights and sounds from the biggest race of the year, including radio communication from NSCS champion Kyle Busch‘s team in the final laps.

* We’ll take you through what was an emotional weekend for future Hall of Famer Jeff Gordon, as he prepared for the final race of his career, holding out hope of still a fifth Sprint Cup title.

* What’s next for 19-year-old phenom Erik Jones after becoming the youngest NASCAR Camping World Truck Series champion ever?
