HOMESTEAD, Fla. — The NASCAR Xfinity Series will play host Saturday to the Ford 300 season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
Here are the particulars (all times are ET):
START: U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team star Carli Lloyd will give the command for drivers to start their engines at 2:47 p.m. ET. The green flag is scheduled for 2:55 p.m.
DISTANCE: The race is scheduled for 200 laps (300 miles) around the 1.5-mile oval.
PRERACE SCHEDULE: The Xfinity garage opens at 7 a.m. Qualifying is at 11:15 a.m. The drivers meeting is at 12:45 p.m. Driver introductions are at 2:15 p.m.
NATIONAL ANTHEM: It will be performed at 2:41 p.m. by Elizabeth Elias.
TV/RADIO: NBC will broadcast the race (and streaming available at http://stream.nbcsports.com/liveextra), starting with Countdown to Green at 2:30 p.m. Motor Racing Network will broadcast the race on radio and at MRN.com. SiriusXM NASCAR Radio will carry MRN’s broadcast.
FORECAST: The wunderground.com site predicts 80 degrees at race time with a 43% chance of rain.
LAST TIME: Matt Kenseth reclaimed the lead from Kyle Larson on a green-white-checkered finish and fended off runner-up Kyle Busch as Chase Elliott clinched his first NASCAR championship.
