Kyle Busch claimed the pole for the Ford EcoBoost 300 after rain limited qualifying to just two of three rounds.
Busch claimed the top spot with a speed of 168.140 mph.
Championship contenders Ty Dillon and points leader Chris Buescher will start 10th and 11th. Chase Elliott will roll off 13th followed by Regan Smith 14th.
“I feel like our drivability is really good,” Buescher told NBCSN. “That’s going to be really important here with the amount that the pace falls off and with the weather coming in and changing the track conditions, as long as this car drives good, we’ll be able to hold our own.”
Buescher only needs to finish in the top 13 to claim the Xfinity championship.
Filling out the top five will be Daniel Suarez, Austin Dillon, Brian Scott and Ryan Blaney.
