FORT WORTH, Texas – Dale Earnhardt Jr. bumped the wall coming out of Turn 4 on Lap 156 at Texas and continued to drive with damage he suffered damage to the left rear of his car.
Earnhardt would soon bring out a caution when he spun.
The No. 88 was in the top five when he he hit the wall. He streaked his way there after an early tire problem had sent him to the back of the pack.
Following the incident, Earnhardt returned to the lead lap on Lap 198 when Trevor Bayne brought out a caution.
