Joey Logano earned his series-high sixth pole of the season Friday at Martinsville Speedway. He also swept the pole for both races this season at the Virginia short track. Logano will be joined on the front row by Martin Truex Jr.
AJ Allmendinger starts third, his best starting spot this season on an oval.
Kasey Kahne is listed in 24th but will go to the rear. He crashed in qualifying and will go to a backup car.
