NASCAR requires Stewart-Haas cars to make change

NASCAR stated Saturday that all four Stewart-Haas Racing cars were told to correct the assembly of the radiator inlet duct panels because they did not conform to specifications.

The issue was found in inspection before Saturday’s qualifying session at Talladega Superspeedway for the cars of Kevin Harvick, Kurt Busch, Tony Stewart and Danica Patrick.

A NASCAR spokesperson said that series officials will discuss the matter next week and decide if any additional penalties will be assessed.
