Much like an opening day ticket for the new Star Wars movie, it will be hard for you find a grandstand ticket for the Nov. 15 Sprint Cup race at Phoenix International Raceway.

The track, which hosts the last race before the championship round of the Chase for the Sprint Cup, has announced that grandstand seats for the Quicken Loans Race for Heroes 500 are sold out.

The race is the last of the third round of the Chase and is the final chance for the eight remaining drivers to race their way into the final four at Homestead-Miami Speedway. This has produced its fair share of drama in the last few years.

“Going back to the controversial Gordon-Bowyer fight in 2012, Kevin Harvick’s last-lap pass for the win in 2013 and last year’s race when Kevin delivered in a must-win situation and Ryan Newman made that gutsy pass in the final turn, PIR has earned a reputation for having one of the most exciting and dramatic races of the year,” track president Bryan R. Sperber said in a track release. “We’re seeing that reflected by the enthusiasm from fans to secure their tickets earlier and guarantee themselves a spot for the excitement this fall.”

General admission tickets to PIR’s Hillside area can still be purchased.

PIR will also host the Camping World Truck Series and the Xfinity Series that weekend.

Tickets for the race weekend may be purchased online at PhoenixRaceway.com or by phone at 866-408-RACE.
