KANSAS CITY, Kan. — The NASCAR Xfinity Series will play host Saturday to the Kansas Lottery 300 at Kansas Speedway.
Here are the particulars (all times are ET):
START: Walter Gaddy, regional sales manager for International Gaming Technology, will give the command for drivers to start their engines at 4:07 p.m. ET. The green flag is scheduled for 4:16 p.m.
DISTANCE: The race is scheduled for 200 laps (300 miles) around the 1.5-mile oval.
PRERACE SCHEDULE: The Xfinity garage opens at 8:30 a.m. The drivers meeting is at 2:15 p.m. Driver introductions are at 3:35 p.m.
NATIONAL ANTHEM: It will be performed at 4:01 p.m. by Angie Rosener.
TV/RADIO: NBCSN will broadcast the race (and streaming available at http://stream.nbcsports.com/liveextra), starting with Countdown to Green at 3:30 p.m. Motor Racing Network will broadcast the race on radio and at MRN.com. SiriusXM NASCAR Radio will carry MRN’s broadcast.
FORECAST: The wunderground.com site predicts 60 degrees at race time with a 0% chance of rain.
LAST TIME: On Oct. 4, 2014, Kyle Busch passed Kevin Harvick for first and led the last 21 laps in his second Xfinity victory at Kansas Speedway.
