Saturday’s Sprint Cup, Xfinity schedule at Kansas Speedway


It’ll be wall-to-wall action Saturday at Kansas Speedway, as both the Sprint Cup and Xfinity series take to the 1.5-mile racetrack.

The Sprint Cup Series will have two practice sessions in preparation for Sunday’s Hollywood Casino 400 race that is part of the Chase for the Sprint Cup.

The Xfinity Series will have qualifying followed later in the afternoon by the Kansas Lottery 300. Chris Buescher looks to increase his lead in the Xfinity point standings.

Here’s how Saturday’s agenda looks (all times Eastern):


8:30 am – Xfinity garage open
10 am – 6:30 pm – Sprint Cup garage open
11:30 am – 12:25 pm – Sprint Cup practice (CNBC, Motor Racing Network)
12:45 pm – Xfinity qualifying (NBCSN)
2:15 pm – Xfinity driver/crew chief meeting
2:30 – 3:20 pm – Sprint Cup final practice (NBCSN, MRN)
3:30 pm – Xfinity driver introductions
4 pm – Xfinity race – Kansas Lottery 300 (200 laps, 300 miles) (NBCSN, MRN, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio)
